If you are past the age of –lets say–50 or 60 and you need a bathing suit, you’re in big trouble. First of all, You will have to choose a style; will you go for the dreaded “Swimdress?” Bikinis are out, unless or maybe even if you are Jane Fonda. Skin hangs, thighs bulge, the stomach protrudes. Last time I bought one was 10 years ago and I went for the Tankini top and matching lounge pants, hoping that no opportunity would present itself where I would actually have to jump in the water. I’m not sure when our bodies become our enemies but it happens and it is a humbling experience.
